1. Agreement
By submitting a consignment or sell request to Global Card Show (“GCS”), you (“Consignor”) appoint GCS as agent to receive, scan, store, list, and sell cards on your behalf under this Agreement and our Terms of Service.
2. Title & authenticity
You represent that you own the cards free of liens, that they are genuine to the best of your knowledge, and that you have authority to consign them. GCS may refuse, pull, or return items that appear counterfeit, altered, or prohibited.
3. Intake, scanning & identification
Cards may be scanned, photographed, and processed with human review and automated/AI tools. Identifications and conditions are operational estimates, not independent grading company opinions. You should review listings when notified and request corrections promptly.
4. Fees (defaults)
Unless your account shows custom rates, default fees are approximately 10%–5% declining by sale value commission on GCS marketplace sales (by single-card sale value: 10% under $100, stepping down to 5% at $5,000+), or 15% commission when we sell the card on eBay (flat — eBay does not offer GCS a value break), plus $0.10 per card processing when sold. The eBay channel rate is set to cover eBay marketplace and payment fees (final-value fees); Global Card Show’s net on typical eBay sales is near zero — not a second profit cut on top of eBay. Fees may differ by promotion or written quote. Unsold return shipping may be charged if you request cards back. See Fees for the full tier table.
5. Pricing & channels
GCS may list on the GCS marketplace and, where enabled, other channels (e.g. eBay). We may adjust list prices with market comps and inventory strategy. High-value, autograph, relic, or serial-numbered items may require extra review before listing.
6. Vault care
We use reasonable care in handling and storage. We are not liable for pre-existing condition issues not visible on intake photos, or for market value changes. Claims for loss or damage while in GCS custody must be made in writing promptly after discovery.
7. Payouts
After a sale clears (payment received and any return window applicable to that channel), net proceeds after fees are credited per your account instructions. Timing depends on payment method and channel rules. GCS may offset amounts you owe (return shipping, chargebacks, prior balances).
8. Unclaimed property
If we cannot reach you with reasonable effort for a prolonged period, we may charge storage or treat inventory under applicable unclaimed property practices. Keep your email and address current.
9. Termination
Either party may end future consignments; cards already in process remain subject to this Agreement until sold or returned. You may request return of unsold vault inventory subject to fees and logistics.
